Megan Lieu, a Data Science and Tech Creator shared her income as a LinkedIn Influencer. If you’re sitting there wondering, how the f*ck is this possible? Well, Megan broke down here income categories into three (3) main categories:

  1. Brand Sponsorships

95% of her income came from Brand Sponsorships, which is when a brand pays an influencer to promote their solution. In her case, it’s software companies looking to increase awareness for their SaaS. Megan mentioned she averaged around $3,400 per post.

  2. Digital Products

This equates to roughly 5% of her income, making roughly $15,562. Looking at her Beacons, she currently has create three (3) digital products for sale ranging from $5-$50. I’m not sure if she had other products throughout the year, but this is currently what I’m seeing in April of 2025.

  3. Coaching

Lastly, Megan earned $981 from coaching. I couldn’t find any links for her coaching, so I’m assuming this is all inbound requests that she fields as is.

Besides Megan having incredible content, how is it possible for an Influencer to make this much on LinkedIn? Well, B2B brands are willing to spend a bit more given the average contract (ACV) is much larger compared to the consumer space. And lastly, audiences on LinkedIn are more affluent compared to other platforms like TikTok.

Although impressive, Megan is not alone….

Creators Are Finding Success On LinkedIn

Last month, The Wall Street Journal wrote an article titled, “These People Found Fame and Money - On LinkedIn” which highlighted a handful of creators seeing success on the platform.

And the craziest part!? I was featured in this article!

I started posting on LinkedIn in 2018 as I was looking for a job. I found when I was active, recruiters came to me.

In 2019, I land a job as an SDR and started creating content about Sales. This is where everything took off for me.

I grew an honest following on LinkedIn sharing sales tips and ‘Day in the Life’ videos.

I landed my first LinkedIn brand deal for a measly $200. I was HYPED.

Years later, I worked with over 50 different brands, earning $95,000 in 2024 as a part time LinkedIn Influencer.

Aside from the brand deals, building my personal brand on the platform has allowed me to start my own business, Creatorbuzz, one of the first B2B Influencer Marketing agencies.

Influencers on LinkedIn are making bank, without the competition of other platforms.
